St. Augustine's is a growing school that hopes to support it's ever evolving local community.
We are lucky to have a Nursery that is joined to our school that plans excellent teaching opportunities alongside our two Reception classes.
Currently we have three mixed Year 1&2 classes and three mixed 3&4 classes that work closely together. Planning and resources are shared as well as participating on events and trips together.
The mixed year groups will gradually move through the school until we reach our full capacity in September 2020. This will include one Nursery class, two Reception classes, three Year 1&2 classes, three Year 3&4 classes and three Year 5&6 classes.
We have organised our classes into the 'Key Stages' to show coverage of the National Curriculum. The Curriculum that each class follows can be found by scrolling down to the end of this page.
The school follows the National Curriculum: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/national-curriculum-in-england-primary-curriculum
The RE curriculum is based on East Anglia Diocese's agreed curriculum: https://www.rcdea.org.uk/primary-re-curriculum-plan/
Each class page has an overview of what is being covered in a particular term:
