Classes

St. Augustine's is a growing school that hopes to support it's ever evolving local community.

Our school has recently expanded to one and a half form entry and has a pupil admission number (PAN) of 45 for each year group. The mixed year groups have gradually moved through the school until we reached our full capacity in September 2020. We ensure each class has 30 children and we have organised them into mixed-phase year groups.

We have organised our classes into the 'Key Stages'. We have three mixed Year 1&2 classes, three mixed Year 3&4 classes and three mixed Year 5&6 classes that work closely together. Teacher’s planning and resources are shared, as well as participating on events and trips together.

We are lucky to have a Nursery that is joined to our school that plans excellent teaching opportunities alongside our two Reception classes.
